When Raymond King, former director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, meets a mysterious assassin named Anaïs, he asks her to help him to locate a Salvadoran family, but only provides her with a dated photo of the family which includes two parents and their young son. Anaïs denies King’s offer but warns him that he’s being followed.

Later, Raymond King is assassinated in a gunfight while the assassin Anaïs escapes unscathed. The current director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, Marybeth Medina, King’s protege, is tasked to identify his body. She notices that ‘find the accountant’ is written up his arm. She decides to take the case.

Later, Medina asks a man named Christian Wolff to aid her in helping find the Salvadoran family. Medina greatly mistrusts Christian, as he is an accountant who launders money for some of the most dangerous criminals in the world. Wolff manages to find out that the family in the photo fled Salvador to Los Angeles and has encountered a lot of hazards along the way.

The person who was assigned to kill both Anaïs and King, Cobb, informs his supervisor, Burke, that King is dead and Anaïs survived. Burke tells him to continue pursuing Anaïs.

Christian invites Braxton, his estranged assassin brother, to help him with the case. He also enlists a woman named Justine, who still resides at the New Hampshire compound where she first met Christian. Justine works with a group of autistic children who attempt to hack different technologies to help Chhristian and his case. They find a photo of Anaïs, but cannot identify her.

Marybeth Medina becomes disenfranchised with the group’s illegal methods and breaks from the group to lead her own case. She visits a hospital that King mentioned in one of his reports. She manages to piece together that Anaïs is the mother in the photo from King.
Medina learns that Anaïs was involved in a critical accident and lost her memories. She was kept hostage and developed intense combat skills before she managed to escape. Batu, a hitman contractor, sets a contract for Medina which Braxton rejects. Justine warns Wolf that Anaïs is the one assigned to hit Medina. He arrives just before she wounds her.
Christian and Braxton attempt to locate Anaïs’s son. They find Alberto, her son, and learn that he is autistic and is being held captive at a prison camp in Juarez.
Alberto is rescued from the compound, after an assault that results in the deaths of Cobb and other guards. Justine then blackmails Batu, forcing him to call off the hit on Medina.
Meanwhile, Anaïs recovers more of her memory and discovers that Burke was responsible for her son's imprisonment and her husband's death in Juarez. She locates Burke in his hiding place and kills him.
Later, Justine and the children in New Hampshire welcome Alberto to their facility, and Braxton and Christian embark on their first trip as brothers.
