Reed is arrested, but Angie intervenes and tells the authorities that Reed died aboard the ship. One of the rescued hostages thanks Reed for saving them. Reed confronts Kameron, who claims he was manipulated by the human traffickers and never knew what they intended to do. Reed tells him that his carelessness and inability to handle things himself ultimately led to his father's death, and that he will have to live with that guilt for the rest of his life. Reed then leaves to find Daniles.

Reed intercepts Daniles' car, crashing into it and killing the driver with a gunshot to the head. He drags Daniles out and interrogates him. Daniles reveals that Tibu's death transferred control of the company to Kameron, ensuring that the cargo business could continue. He then attempts to bribe Reed, asking what he wants in exchange for letting him go. Reed responds by smashing Daniles' head against the car before shooting him dead.

"Vengeance," Reed declares, having finally avenged Tibu. And he walks away.
